Our Standard delivery service uses the most most suitable postage method according to size and weight of package, in most cases this will be either Royal Mail First Class or Royal Mail Standard Parcels but we will occasionally use other couriers, particularly for larger deliveries. An e-mail will be sent to you once goods have been despatched. We will advise of the courier in our despatch confirmation e-mail. For higher value orders, a signature will be required upon receipt. Your card will be debited only after despatch of the goods. If goods are ordered on bank holidays or weekends, they will be treated as being having been ordered on the morning of the next working day. You should receive your goods within 3-5 working days of the order date (with the exception of a small number of remote postcodes).

Packaging
Due to the fragile nature of some of our products, particularly the ceramics, a suitable level of packaging is required to protect them in transit. We use recycled and recyclable material (cardboard boxes, wrapping paper, corrugated cardboard) and biodegradable bubble wrap. In addition, we reuse the majority of the packaging our suppliers ship us the products in including boxes from fair trade producers, stationary suppliers, and shredded paperwork, newspaper and magazines used to cushion products.

Tax & Customs Information for Rest of World Orders
Goods destined for countries outside of the European Union and their relevant shipping charges are not subject to VAT (17.5%). The VAT will be deducted from the total price after checkout.
Please note that when ordering goods from kartimarket.com for delivery outside of the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from kartimarket.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift" but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.

Returns
We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in original, fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within 14 days of receiving the goods. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described. If the product returned is not in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. If your goods are faulty or incorrect, please call us on 0203 286 7320, and we will refund any return postage costs. If returning goods, before sending us the goods please send an email to customerservice@kartimarket.com with "Returns" in the subject line mentioning your order number, the reason for the return and whether you want a refund, credit or a replacement. We will reply with instructions. We will refund your original delivery charge on all returns and the delivery charge you incur in returning the goods to us only in the case of the product being faulty or damaged.

Change or cancel an order
If you wish to change or cancel an order contact us on 0203 286 7320 between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday, or by email to orders@kartimarket.com with "Change" or "Cancellation" in the subject line. Please quote the order number and the date the order was made. Order can only be changed/cancelled if request is made before product is dispatched.
