Allpa is an organisation based in Peru that has been working with handmade, artisanal products for over 21 years. The word ?allpa? actually means ?earth? in Quechuan. Working with producers in over 100 workshops in locations all over the country, each with their own disctinctive products and designs, Allpa offers support to Peruvian artisans in the form of technical assistance, consultancy services, finance, training and design, helping to continually develop and improve new products and even higher levels of quality. Allpa is a member of IFAT, the World Fair Trade Organization. Allpa's products are varied and included articles made from wool, alpaca wool, wood, glass, ceramic and natural fibres.
